TourRadar Meets Automation

TourRadar Meets Is Now Fully Automated.

TourRadar Meets is officially live, a feature that automatically creates private group chats for travellers booked on the same tour and departure date, giving them a space to introduce themselves, share tips, and build excitement with their fellow adventurers before day one.

We first tested this as a proof of concept, creating Meets manually. Around 15% of the groups we created saw at least one reply, a strong enough signal to build it out properly. Now it runs itself.

  • Meets are created automatically 30 days before departure, as long as at least two confirmed marketplace bookings exist for the same tour and departure date.

  • Travellers can access their group via community.tourradar.com or directly in the mobile app.

  • Late bookings are handled automatically, too. If someone joins after a Meet is already created, they're added to the existing group and the rest of the crew gets notified.
