How To Add And Optimize Your Tour Highlights

Make your tours stand out!

Tour Highlights provide an immediate idea of the amazing experiences and unique moments travelers can expect, getting them excited and encouraging them to book.

Why Are Highlights Critical?

Highlights serve as mini-headlines for your tour, telling a compelling story in a few action-packed phrases.

  • They answer the traveler's question: "What makes this tour special?"
  • They communicate the memorable, high-impact experiences your tour delivers.
  • They are a key part of the tour page optimization that drives higher conversion rates.
Our Quality Guidelines: Focus on Action and Impact

The best highlights focus on action and experience, not just basic facts. To ensure high impact, limit each highlight to eight words or fewer.

Do This (Action-Oriented Examples) Not This (Too Vague or Long)
Trek the Inca Trail for a spectacular challenge. You will see the famous ancient Inca Trail ruins.
Ascend the Eiffel Tower for sweeping vistas. Take a trip up to the top of the Eiffel Tower.
Camp under starry skies near African wildlife. Spend a night sleeping in a tent under the stars.
Feast on blinis and borshch; tantalize your tastebuds. There will be delicious Russian food provided for dinner.
Highlight Submission Checklist

Please use this checklist to ensure your submission is ready for our team:

  1. Quantity: Aim for 5-8 strong highlights for a standard tour. If you operate Private or Customized Tours, we only require two high-impact highlights.
  2. Length: Maximum of 8 words per highlight. Keep it concise!
  3. Tone: Use active verbs and exciting language (e.g., challenge, ascend, snorkel, admire, feast).
  4. Uniqueness: Ensure the highlights are specific to that exact tour.
Submission Process

To get your Tour Highlights live as quickly as possible, please follow these two simple steps:

Step 1: Prepare Your Submission

Create a simple document (Word, Google Sheet, or just an email body) that clearly lists

  1. The exact Tour Name(s) for which the highlights apply.
  2. The corresponding Tour Highlights (up to 8, following the 8-word max and quality guidelines above).

Step 2: Send to the BD Team

Email your completed list directly to our Business Development Team.

Our team will then review, input, verify, and confirm with you via email once completed.

Pro-Tip: Focusing on the most exciting experiences and keeping the language punchy ensures maximum traveler engagement!
