Find information on the differences between managing your inventory for Direct booking vs TourRadar website bookings.
In order to utilize the Direct Booking Solution for your direct website, you will need to load your tours on TourRadar first for technological reasons. However, it is up to you if you want to showcase your tours on both TourRadar and your own website or only on your own website.
While all tour details (including pricing and availability) still need to be loaded on TourRadar, you can opt out of actually having them displayed on the TourRadar marketplace.
How to enable or disable a tour via the Operator Dashboard to determine if you want them to either show up or not show up on the TourRadar website:
- Login to your Operator Dashboard and go to the 'Adventures' tab.
- Choose an existing tour or Load a New Tour. (https://help.tourradar.com/en/operators/how-to-manually-add-new-tours)
- Change 'Tour Status' on the Tour Details tab.
- You can choose between 'Adventure is Live' or 'Adventure is Paused'.
- Additionally, you can enable or disable the 'Shop Status' within the same Tour Details tab.
- If you do not utilize the Direct Booking Solution on your website then it does not matter if the Shop Status is active or not. If you have booking links or widgets embedded on your existing website, please ensure the Shop Status is enabled, otherwise the links will show as broken on your website.
