Step 7) How to Rebook a Traveler on Credit for Future Tours

When the traveler is ready to use their Credit for Future Tours (CFFT), they will reach out to you via the same Booking Conversation Page (BCP) and request a new date.

Step 1: 

Once the traveler has reached out to you via the BCP to rebook their tour, click the ‘Rebook this tour’ button - Please note that the traveler can book the exact same tour on different dates, or a different tour you operate. 

Step 2:

Once you click on ‘Rebook this tour’ you will have the option to simply click ‘Rebook now’ if the traveler is booking the same tour.

If the traveler has requested to book a different tour, click on the drop-down box and select from your tours listed, then click ‘Rebook now’.

Step 3: 

You will now need to select the new travel date by editing the price calculator.

  1. Click the 'Edit' button at the bottom of the price calculator on the left-hand side near the booking total. A pop-up will then appear with the booking details.
  2. Click on the ‘Date’ section and a calendar of your available dates will open. Select the new departure date for the tour.

  3. This pop-up window will appear asking you if you want to keep the same pricing or update the price of the new departure date. 
    • If you click 'Keep Prices', the brochure price that was entered before the date change will stay the same, as well as all items added to the booking.
    • If you click 'Update Prices', the pricing will be automatically updated to the price of the new departure date

    Once the departure date and pricing are updated, click ‘save’.

  4. Once you have saved the changes, this will send the request to the traveler and will be pending their acceptance. Once the traveler has accepted, this will update the booking status to 'Confirmed' for the new departure date and you will see ‘This tour has been rebooked’ on the top of the booking page.
