TourRadar has the functionality to add many different Promotion Types, below is a breakdown of the different Promotion Types you can add to your tours in the TourRadar Marketplace
Absolute Value: A straight value discount in your default currency such as ‘$100 off x tour’
Percentage: A percentage value discount such as ‘15% off x tour’
You have the ability to load the above promotions yourself through the Operator Dashboard, for instructions on how to do so please see Add a Promotion
Note: Percentage discounts will apply to the total price, meaning the brochure price plus all room and traveler types added (ex. a single supplement or child price).
Flight Deals: Flight promotions such as a ‘Fly for Free’ deal as part of booking the tour. The departure will have a small red tag in the corner with a plane icon to indicate the deal.
2 for 1 Deal: Promotions that are only eligible for 2 customers, such as a 2 for the price of 1 booking deal. The departure will have a small red tag in the corner with a ‘2 for 1’ icon to indicate the deal.
Free Upgrade / Add-on: Promotions that involve a free upgrade or add-on as part of the tour booking, such as free bike rental or a voucher for an optional excursion. The departure will have a small red tag in the corner labeled ‘Deal’.

The following details will be required to load in the Promotion:
- Promotion Description
- Promotion Type (Flight Deal, 2 for 1, or Free Upgrade)
- Promotion Valid From/To dates (The promotion will be applied to all the bookings made between these dates)
- Promotion Departure From/To dates (The promotion will be applied to all the bookings due to depart between these dates)
- Any relevant Terms and Conditions
- Promotion Codes/Agent Instructions (if applicable)
NOTE: The maximum validity length of a promotion on TourRadar is three months.
