When a traveler requests a private tour quote, please follow the below process.
When quoting a Private Tour Request you have the ability to update the Tour Name, Departure Dates, Start & End City, and set a Quote Validity.
Once you have all of the required information from the traveler and you are ready to create a quote follow the steps below:
- Select 'Create Quote' on the left side of the Booking Conversation Page (BCP)
- A pop-up will appear with the booking details
- Update the Tour Name, if required (select 'Edit Title')
- Select a 'Start' and 'End' date
- Update start and end locations if these vary to the tour the traveler enquired on
- Update the number of travelers
- Update the pricing and add any additional services required by using the '+ Add item' button (remember to quote Gross only!)
- Select a Quote Expiry Date
- Click 'Save Changes' to finalize the pricing for the traveler to book
- Write a message to traveler or use the Booking Conversation Templates called Private Quote
